MS-DOS

Whenever the word “MS-DOS” is heard, we imagine a black screen with white or green letters. Is that old-fashioned?

Not at all. Not only the trends in interface design support this inverted display style more and more, but it also has more tangible advantages. LED inverted displays (standard mobile phones, car radios, HiFi systems…) generate less annoying light and require less energy. Now even future Windows operative systems will show lighter text over darker background. Although not comfortable for reading long texts, less light is more comfortable and healthy for the eyes.
