So here’s the reason why for the second or third time I had abandoned this, my personal blog of things that catch my interest: Facebook. I replaced it with the ridiculously easy way of sharing links and stuff in Facebook, and it works a hundred times better than Avantglance when it comes to having people comment on the stuff itself, which is the point of sharing.
Avantglance has been for the longest time just a tool for me to store the thingsthatcatchmyinterest somewhere where I can easily retrieve them when I need them in the future. A huge evergrowing sophisticated bookmark list, if you will. But go figure, Facebook doesn’t have a very appealing way to navigate through old content (or new content, for that matter), so now AVTG to be the aggregator of all the stuff I post on Facebook. In a fancy container. In summary, it’s pretty much the same as before.
And to celebrate this second rebirth, a new layout and a new logo. Does it look like a logo for hairdressing products? You be the judge, me likey.
