There was this Berenice Abbott’s photographic work featuring the New York City in the late 30’s, and now Douglas Levere has published photographs of the very same sites… in the ’90s. The comparison view of both works is as surprising as beautiful. [Via Josh Spear]

During the past unblogged week I spent some sightseeing time in London with my family, with no hackable WiFi in my hotel room. Very basic sightseeing which allowed me to get interested —and attracted— in all the public signs that build the city’s typo-graphic style.
