One month of ourselves

After a month of being on-line, the first thing to do is confess that this idea had been swirling through our heads for ages, but it only took one week to develop, so don't take us too seriously

This editorial is to say that I've just realize that it's not just a site about trendy -for our eyes- things, or just about worthy stuff, it is also a sort of diary of our selves: the writers or re-viewers. It may not be a traditional diary with daily entries, but rather a bunch of reviews that will stimulate our own mental diary.

It is based on the fact that everything that we see affects us and will trigger a remembrance of a period, a day, or maybe even of a sensation that we will recall someday, as tings that we felt in our youth. And maybe we'll understand better what the Spanish writer Ruben Dario meant when he said "juventud divino tesoro...".

But that it's only for us. For you, as a reader, it serves as an anonymous -not always objective- point of view of things that revolve in our daily life. So for the fact that you are spending your time in our thoughts, Thanks. Consider, that for the first time we've developed a selfish site. It wasn't developed to attract people, it is just one of those things that you do for yourself, and for whoever could be bothered.

We've had 400 visits in this first month, which is not much for our standards. Our last project -www.clubsonyericsson.com- has 2000 a day and still growing. But then we realized that this site wasn't developed to generate large volumes of site visits. So, who cares?

Again, I don't really know what this editorial is about. I only know that it's about me, and it's about now. So again, thanks for reading us.

AVTG at Möbius

I've been invited to this Microsoft exclusive event about mobile devices this week

NOTE: I am already back from Paris. You can see the Photo Gallery

Microsoft Möbius is a never-ending conversation about mobile technology. Each year Microsoft Mobile Devices Division invites some of the most influential mobile device bloggers from around the globe and they spend two days learning Microsoft's new products and strategies; sharing thoughts, ideas and inspirations; and having a great time in an open-minded geek atmosphere.

In past editions, atendees were able to play with revolutionary new products first than anyone else. They were the first to report the appearance of a new contender in the mobile computing world, the Tablet PCs; and they had the chance to see another intriguing platform, the Microsoft Smartphone OS. As owner of the Unofficial Club Sony Ericsson, I'be been invited to Möbius Europe 2003 taking place in Eurodisney (Paris) April 2 - 4. However I will make the report mostly here in Avantglance.

No one's been told which surprises will be unvealed this year but from what I've heard and what I can imagine, they'll show some really new cool stuff. Wrist devices is what I'd like to be the next big thing. Just think about it: we have watches on our wrists, but we pull our mobile phones out of our pockets (to see new SMSs, missed calls, whatever...) more times than we look the hour in our watches. And mobile devices obviously can integrate a nice clock :) All said.
